Lady Dior As Seen By

Born in 1995, Lady Dior has become during the years an iconic accessory, with its different patterns, dangling gold letters, rectangular body and arching handles.
Photographers, visual artists, film directors have been inspired by this mythical and modern bag. Lady Dior As Seen By is an exhibition that connects the vibrant love of Maison Dior toward art and the most talented artists, such as David Lynch, John Cameron Mitchell, Ellen von Unwerth.
This project, where art meets fashion, reflects different approaches, ambitions, techniques and materials.

La petite veste noire

Inspired by male clothing, Coco Chanel creates something revolutionary in 1954. She creates the iconic tweed jacket. This year Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld celebrate the legendary little black jacket with an itinerant exhibition and a book, starring 109 personalities, (artists, models, musicians and actors) photographed by Karl, wearing and interpreting the Chanel jacket.

NGHFB GIG

Last night Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds concert in Bologna was massive. Noel was fool of energy and the audience kept on singing any songs, making the atmosphere great.
Noel's new project after Oasis is amazing. It represents his true love towards music, his lyrics are poetries.
Hope to see him again on stage!

Muses

Get inspiration from the icons of the past and dress like them with 60s based dresses and trenches, but don't forget details such as hairstyle and makeup. Bibi, Twiggy, Edie and Jane are just a few of the muses who influenced fashion, music and art in 1960s. Their styles were so sober and clean : they wore white shirts with geometrical pattern headscarves, high-waisted jeans and ballerinas. Muses of the past reflected their strong personalities on their clothes.

When Music meets Fashion

Listening to the Parisian rock band BB BRUNES, we are watching some Paris Fashion Week Shows via streaming. If we think about Paris of course we refer to a city where fashion music and art are together the pillars of a cool urban wave which is constantly evolving, imitating the past but also looking for the newest trends.
Famous designers have always shown their interest in music. In 1970s Vivienne Westwood was the stylist of punk band Sex Pistols, Hedi Slimane published "The Rock Diary", the super cool photography book with portraits of rock stars, Karl Lagerfeld has made public his admiration for Florence and The Machine. These are just fews examples of the cool combination music and fashion.
So get inspiration from Rock n Roll, listen to some good music and dress up like a rock star. Wear black leather jacket and match it with a silk shirt or a rock tee, skinny jeans and ankle boots. Wear stripes, hats, vintage jewels and copy male rockstars' outfits. Keep on Rocking!
